Bei der Frage, in welchem Verh\u00e4ltnis nationaler und europ\u00e4ischer Grundrechtsschutz zueinander stehen, gehen die Meinungen auseinander. Einige sehen in den europ\u00e4ischen Gerichten eine Erg\u00e4nzung zum Bundesverfassungsgericht, Kritiker hingegen werfen ihnen Kompetenz\u00fcberschreitung vor. Tats\u00e4chlich geht es um weit mehr Aspekte, als in dieser Vereinfachung zum Ausdruck kommt, wenn das Verh\u00e4ltnis von nationalem und europ\u00e4ischem Grundrechtsschutz bestimmt werden soll.<\/p>\n

Mit dieser aktuellen verfassungspolitischen Frage befasste sich die Humanistische Union auf dem ersten Gustav-Heinemann-Forum im September 2010 im Rastatter Schloss. In einer Art Werkstattgespr\u00e4ch diskutierten die Richter Renate Jaeger und Siegfried Bro\u00df die Anh\u00e4ufung von Grund- und Menschenrechtskatalogen in nationalen und europ\u00e4ischen Verfassungen, die gegenseitigen Pr\u00fcfkompetenzen der Gerichte f\u00fcr Entscheidungen der anderen Instanzen, die Sicherungsverwahrung und schlie\u00dflich die von vielen beklagte lange Verfahrensdauer von Prozessen.<\/p>\n

Die beiden Fachjuristen Anne Lenze und Alexander Ro\u00dfnagel machten die Komplexit\u00e4t des Verh\u00e4ltnisses von nationalen und europ\u00e4ischen Grundrechten beispielhaft in den Themenbereichen Sozialstaat und Datenschutz sichtbar.<\/p>\n

Die Humanistische Union dokumentiert in diesem Band die Ergebnisse des ersten Gustav-Heinemann-Forums.<\/p>\n
