Die Entwicklungen des Internet und neuartige Anwendungsmöglichkeiten verlangen neue bürgerrechtliche Antworten. So kann z.B. der bestehende Daten- und Persönlichkeitsschutz nicht einfach für das globale Internet übernommen werden.<\/p>\n

Internetpolitik lässt sich unterscheiden nach den Bereichen Infrastrukturpolitik (z.B. gleicher, kostenloser Zugang für alle), Rechtsfragen zum Internet (z.B. Urheberrecht, Datenschutz, Zensur), sowie die Entwicklung von Politikformen über das Internet als Informationsmedium (z.B. Information und Partizipation der Bürger). Die HU plant verschiedene neue Aktivitäten mit Bezug auf das Internet. Auf dem Verbandstag in Köln wurde hierzu ein Projektplan vorgestellt, der eine Bündelung unserer Aktivitäten zum Thema Internet bezweckt.<\/p>\n

In diesem Zusammenhang wird ein Arbeitskreis Netzpolitik einberufen, der die laufenden Entwicklungen in den genannten Bereichen der Internetpolitik  begleitet und Fragen zu aktuellen Themen formuliert und diskutiert. Den Auftakt soll ein Starttreffen bilden, die weitere Arbeit erfolgt dann (möglichst datensparsam) über das Internet.<\/p>\n
