Presseerkl\u00e4rung des HU-Regionalverbandes M\u00fcnchen-S\u00fcdbayern vom 31. Januar 2002
Das Demonstrationsverbot ist unverh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig. Nach Ansicht der HUMANISTISCHEN UNION handeln die Organisatoren der Sicherheitskonferenz unverantwortlich, wenn sie eine derart
sicherheitssensible internationale Konferenz im Stadtzentrum
veranstalten und die Stadtbev\u00f6lkerung einem faktischen Ausnahme-zustand aussetzen. Eine Verlegung in einen Ort au\u00dferhalb der Stadt ist dringend geboten.
Die HUMANISTISCHE UNION appelliert an die Gerichte, entsprechend
der Brokdorf-Entscheidung des Bundesverfassungsgerichts das Verbot der geplanten Kundgebungen und Demonstrationen aufzuheben. Vage Sicherheitseinsch\u00e4tzungen durch Informanten und Planungsst\u00e4be d\u00fcrfen das eine Demokratie mittragende Grundrecht auf Demonstrationsfreiheit nicht aush\u00f6hlen.
Die Sicherheitskr\u00e4fte haben es in der Hand, Provokationen zu vermeiden indem sie zur\u00fcckhaltend auftreten und auf St\u00e4rke demonstrierende Kampfausr\u00fcstung verzichten. Die „besondere bayerische Art“ und der „M\u00fcnchner Kessel“ (1992) d\u00fcrfen sich nicht wiederholen.
Andererseits appelliert die HUMANISTISCHE UNION auch an die
Demonstranten, sich nicht provozieren zu lassen und ebenfalls
auf Gewalt zu verzichten.
