Privatisierung der (gelben) Post f\u00fchrt wegen der Schlie\u00dfungen von Postfilialen zu Einschr\u00e4nkungen:<\/p>\n

Auch Verbraucherschutz ist ein Anliegen von B\u00fcrgerrechtsarbeit – vor allem dann, wenn \u00f6ffentliche Aufgaben zunehmend privatisiert und damit eingeschr\u00e4nkt werden. Bereits in der letzten Ausgabe der Mitteilungen konnten wir von unserer erfolgreichen Klage gegen Datenschutzverst\u00f6\u00dfe der Bahn AG berichten. HU-Mitgliedern gelang es mit Hilfe zahlreicher Unterst\u00fctzenden unsere Bedenken gegen die Datenspeicherung via BahnCard durchzusetzen.
Auch die Privatisierung der (gelben) Post f\u00fchrt wegen der begleitenden Schlie\u00dfungen der Postfilialen zu tats\u00e4chlichen Einschr\u00e4nkungen der Brief- und Paketkommunikation, vor allem f\u00fcr Privatkunden au\u00dferhalb der Innenst\u00e4dte. Die tageszeitung meldete am 7. Juni 1999 weitere geplante Schlie\u00dfungen: 2.000 von bisher 14.000 Filialen sollen bis Ende 2.000 dicht machen, weitere 2.000 Filialen werden sp\u00e4ter stillgelegt. L\u00e4ngerfristig sollen durch die Post AG selbst nur noch ca. 5.000 Gesch\u00e4ftsstellen betrieben werden. Dienstleistungen f\u00fcr Privatkunden werden von der Deutschen Post AG also bundesweit massiv eingeschr\u00e4nkt.
HU-Mitglied Gerhard Saborowski engagiert sich seit Jahren in einer hannoverschen B\u00fcrgerinitiative gegen Schlie\u00dfungen von Postfilialen. Die B\u00fcrgerinitiative Hannover-Waldheim f\u00fchrt wegen der Versorgung mit Postfilialen einen Musterproze\u00df und wird dabei vom HU-Bundesvorsitzenden Till M\u00fcller-Heidelberg anwaltlich vertreten. Hierzu hat Gerhard Saborowski folgende Bitte:<\/p>\n

Berichte \u00fcber B\u00fcrgerInnenproteste gegen solche Einschr\u00e4nkungen erscheinen fast nur in den Lokalteilen der Regionalzeitungen, in Stadtteilzeitungen und Anzeigenbl\u00e4ttern. Gerhard Saborowski bittet daher um Zusendung von Zeitungsausschnitten \u00fcber Schlie\u00dfung von Postfilialen, Umwandlung in Postagenturen oder McPaper-Filialen und auch \u00fcber sonstige Einschr\u00e4nkungen von Dienstleistungen.
