„Zivile Konfliktbearbeitung“ ist Thema eines Vortrags von Werner Koep-Kerstin am Mittwoch (14. November) um 19.30 Uhr. Auf Einladung der Humanistischen Union Marburg (HU) und des Arbeitskreises Marburger WissenschaftlerInnen für Frieden und Abrüstungsforschung (AMW) spricht der 2. Vorsitzende der HU in der MTA-Schule. Das Haus Deutschhausstraße 17 befindet sich an einer lahnseitigen Nebengasse des Verbindungswegs zwischen der Deutschhausstraße und dem Alten Botanischen Garten. <\/p>\n

In seinem Vortrag unter dem Titel „Zivile Konfliktbearbeitung aus bürgerrechtlicher Sicht“ zeichnet Koep-Kerstin die Entwicklung ziviler Konfliktlösungsansätze von einem Nischendasein in den 90er Jahren zu einem inzwischen im parlamentarischen und Regierungshandeln zumindest präsenten Politikprinzip nach. Positive Ansätze zur Einlösung des Anspruchs einer „kohärenten“ deutschen Friedenspolitik möchte er ebenso skizzieren wie die Defizite. Im Gegensatz zum Militär verfügen zivile Konfliktlösungsstrukturen nur über eine sehr geringe finanzielle Ausstattung.<\/p>\n

Koep-Kerstin ist im Bundesvorstand der Humanistischen Union, vereinigt mit der Gustav-Heinemann-Initiative<\/i> unter anderem zuständig für Friedenspolitik, Zivile Konfliktbearbeitung und für die vorgänge – Zeitschrift für Bürgerrechte und Gesellschaftspolitik<\/i>. Früher war er Referatsleiter im Bundespresseamt für den Bereich Film.
