https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oTMKToXZr60&feature=youtu.be<\/a><\/p>\nIn seiner Einführung kam der Gastgeber, Michael Meyen, Professor für Kommunikationswissenschaft, zu dem Schluß, es sei ein „Kampf um Deutungshoheit“, den wir aktuell erleben. Dazu gehöre die „öffentliche Diffamierung als Verschwörungstheoretiker, als Querfrontler, als Antisemit“.
Der Münchner Stadtrat habe, so folgert Meyen weiter, mit dem Anti-BDS-Beschluss eingegriffen in „den Kampf um Definitionsmacht“ und damit „ letztendlich die Zivilgesellschaft in München geschwächt“.<\/p>\n
Zumach thematisierte die Angriffe auf die Meinungsfreiheit durch Sympathisanten der israelischen radikalnationalistischen Regierung. Wie zur Bestätigung der Thesen des Vortrags gab es im Vorfeld Angriffe auf die Veranstaltung: Sie sei antisemitisch und stehe der Israelboykott-Bewegung (BDS) nahe. Das Präsidium der LMU aber ließ nicht an der akademischen Freiheit rütteln.
Also kamen in den völlig überfüllten Hörsaal mehr als 300 Personen, darunter auch 20-30 lautstarke Gegner der Veranstaltung.
