Auf unserem Aktiventreffen am Mittwoch, 21. Juni, 19.00 Uhr, in der HU-Geschäftsstelle (Greifswalder Straße 4, Berlin) wollen wir über den fünften Armuts- und Reichtumsbericht der Bundesregierung diskutieren. Unser Vorstandsmitglied Tobias Baur wird den Bericht und die teilweise grundsätzliche Kritik der Zivilgesellschaft, Kirchen, Wohlfahrtsorganisationen und Sozialpartnern daran vorstellen.<\/p>\n

„Unter der Federführung des Bundesministeriums für Arbeit und Soziales hat die Bundesregierung die 2001 begonnene Bestandsaufnahme der sozialen Lage in Deutschland fortgesetzt und den Fünften Armuts- und Reichtumsbericht (5. ARB) vorgelegt.<\/p>\n

Das Konzept des 5. ARB zielt auf die Beschreibung von Lebenslagen, sozialer Mobilität und der Einkommens- und Vermögensverteilung. Weitere Schwerpunktthemen sind: Auswirkungen atypischer Beschäftigungsformen auf die berufliche Entwicklung und Erwerbseinkommen im Lebensverlauf, die Relevanz sozialräumlicher Segregation sowie Reichtum. Das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales hat entsprechende Begleitforschungsprojekte in Auftrag gegeben bzw. förderte ihre Durchführung.“ sagt die Bundesregierung über den Bericht, der schon vor seiner Veröffentlichung heftig kritisiert wurde.<\/p>\n

Was steht in dem Bericht? Was fehlt? Wie ist die soziale Lage in Deutschland? Was muss, ausgehend von dem Bericht, getan werden, um die Lage der Armen und von Armut betroffenen Menschen zu verbessern?<\/p>\n

Über diese und andere Fragen wollen wir diskutieren.<\/p>\n
