November 2007 um 19.00 Uhr<\/p>\n<p>Kino im Acud, Veteranenstra\u00dfe 21, 10119 Berlin<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Die Humanistische Union zeigt beim diesj&auml;hrigen OneWorld-Filmfestival den Beitrag&nbsp;&#8222;Taxi to the Dark Side&#8220; von Alex Gibney&nbsp;(D\/USA\/GB 2007). Im Anschluss findet eine Diskussionsrunde zur aktuellen Bedeutung des Folterverbotes statt, an der&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Andrea Arndt, Behandlungszentrum f&uuml;r Folteropfer<\/li>\n<li>Britta Jenkins, Behandlungszentrum f&uuml;r Folteropfer <\/li>\n<li>Prof. Dr. Rosi Will, Bundesvorsitzende der Humanistischen Union, Professorin an der Humboldt-Universit&auml;t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>teilnehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Der afghanische Taxifahrer Dilawar wird 2002 w&auml;hrend einer Taxifahrt mit seinen Fahrg&auml;sten vom US-Milit&auml;r festgenommen und ohne einen Prozess im Gef&auml;ngnis festgehalten. F&uuml;nf Tage sp&auml;ter stirbt er in seiner Zelle an den Folgen der Misshandlungen, die ihm die US-Soldaten zugef&uuml;gt haben. In der gleichen Weise sind seit dem Beginn des &#8222;Krieges gegen den Terror&#8220; &uuml;ber hundert US-Gefangene unter mysteri&ouml;sen Umst&auml;nden umgekommen.<\/p>\n<p>Die mehrfach ausgezeichnete Dokumentation zeigt die staatlich praktizierte Folter durch die Bush-Regierung. November 2007 das One World BERLIN Filmfestival f&uuml;r Menschenrechte und Medien statt. One World Berlin ist das Partnerfestival des One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Prag, das im M&auml;rz 2008 zum zehnten Mal veranstaltet wird. ONE WORLD BERLIN wird von Glashaus e.V.
