Dr. Michael Schmidt-Salomon<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Würden sich die Gläubigen nicht kontinuierlich selbst belügen, schreibt der Philosoph Michael Schmidt-Salomon im Manifest des evolutionären Humanismus, müssten sie zugeben, dass sämtliche religiösen Quellentexte weit unter dem ethischen Mindeststandard jeder halbwegs zivilisierten Gesellschaft stehen. Die Welt sei schlichtweg zu komplex geworden, als dass man auf die ethischen Empfehlungen archaischer Hirtenkulturen zurückgreifen könnte.<\/p>\n

Deshalb stellt Schmidt-Salomon den Zehn Geboten der Bibel die Zehn Angebote des evolutionären Humanismus gegenüber. In seinem Vortrag wird er begründen, warum eine zeitgemäße Ethik auf religiöse Versatzstücke nicht nur verzichten kann, sondern warum sie auf diese sogar zwingend verzichten muss, um der „in letzter Instanz kriegstreiberischen religiösen Gettoisierung der Menschheit“ entgegenzuwirken.<\/p>\n

Dr. Michael Schmidt-Salomon ist Philosoph und Schriftsteller, Vorstandssprecher der Giordano Bruno Stiftung und verantwortlicher Redakteur der Zeitschrift MIZ. Er veröffentlichte u.a. die Bücher: Stollbergs Inferno (philosophischer Roman, 2003) und Manifest des evolutionären Humanismus (2005) .
