September 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Zeit der Veranstaltung steht Berlin kurz vor der Wahl zum Abgeordnetenhaus. Anhand von Wahlpr&uuml;fsteinen hat die Humanistische Union Berlin-Brandenburg die Positionen von CDU, SPD, B&uuml;ndnis 90\/Die Gr&uuml;nen, FDP, Piratenpartei und Die Linke abgeklopft. Die Gretchenfrage: Wie halten es die Parteien mit den B&uuml;rgerrechten?<\/p>\n<p>Auf Einladung der HU stellten sich am 31. August 2011 um 19 Uhr Vertreter dieser Parteien in einer Podiumsdiskussion den Fragen des Publikums und der Moderatoren.<\/p>\n<p>Auf dem Podium sa&szlig;en die innenpolitischen Sprecher der zu diesem Zeitpunkt im Abgeordnetenhaus vertretenen Parteien Thomas Kleineidam (SPD), Dr. Robbin Juhnke (CDU), Benedikt Lux (B&uuml;ndnis 90\/Die Gr&uuml;nen), Marion Seelig (Die Linke), Bj&ouml;rn M. Jotzo (FDP) und der innenpolitische Experte der Piratenpartei Pavel Mayer.<\/p>\n<p>Moderiert wurde die Diskussion von den Mitgliedern des HU-Landesvorstands Tobias Baur und Norman B&auml;uerle.<\/p>\n<p>Trotz Wahlkampf bestach die Veranstaltung im Haus der Demokratie und Menschenrechte weitgehend durch gegenseitigen Respekt und die Bereitschaft zur inhaltlichen Diskussion. So konnte sachlich und ernsthaft &uuml;ber die Zukunft der Video&uuml;berwachung in Berlin, die HU-Forderung der Institutionalisierung eines Polizeibeauftragten, das Recht der Berliner auf Demonstration und gesellschaftliche Teilhabe diskutiert werden.
