Mit einem Verm\u00f6gen von gesch\u00e4tzt 40,5 Milliarden Euro gelten Susanne Klatten und ihr Bruder Stefan Quandt als die reichste Familie Deutschlands. Wie ihr Reichtum zustande gekommen ist, dar\u00fcber reden sie allerdings nicht gerne. Die preisgekr\u00f6nte Fernsehdokumentation „Das Schweigen der Quandts \u2013 eine ausstehende Konfrontation“ von Eric Friedler beleuchtet die Verstrickung des Gro\u00dfindustriellen G\u00fcnther Quandt als Profiteur der NS-Gewaltherrschaft. Die Verbindungen der Familie Quandt zu Joseph Goebbels und ihr Umgang mit dieser Tatsache bis in die Gegenwart werfen wichtige Fragen auf und spiegeln den oft schwierigen Umgang Deutschlands mit dieser Vergangenheit wider.<\/p>\n

Auch in L\u00fcbeck Schlutup besa\u00df die Familie Quandt w\u00e4hrend der NS-Zeit zwei gro\u00dfe Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken, in denen Tausende von Zwangsarbeiter:innen unter menschenunw\u00fcrdigen Bedingungen arbeiteten…<\/p>\n

Der Historiker Christian Rathmer von der Gedenkst\u00e4tte Lutherkirche f\u00fchrt in die Dokumentation ein und gibt vertiefende Einblicke in die Geschichte des Werks in L\u00fcbeck-Schlutup, das Leben der dort eingesetzten Zwangsarbeiter*innen und die Erinnerungskultur vor Ort.<\/p>\n
