Anfang des Jahres lehnten es die Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) ab, eine Anzeige der sog. Buskampagne auf ihren Fahrzeugen zu platzieren. Der agnostische Slogan – „Es gibt (mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit) keinen Gott“ – schien den Verantwortlichen der BVG geeignet, die religiösen Gefühle anderer Menschen zu verletzen. Nach Auskunft der Kampagne begründete die BVG ihr Ablehnung damit, dass man „ab jetzt gar keine religiöse und weltanschauliche Werbung“ auf den Werbeflächen der Verkehrsbetriebe zulassen wolle.<\/p>\n

Umso überraschender die Plakate des Christlichen Plakatdienstes, der im Juli in den Bahnhöfen der BVG für die christliche Erlösung warb: „Jesus Christus. Dein Retter oder Richter!“ sowie die folgenden Aufforderungen zur Bibellektüre enthielten ein deutliches Bekenntnis. Die Verkehrsbetriebe erklärten auf Nachfrage der Humanistischen Union, dass es sich bei dieser Werbung um eine offensichtliche Fehlentscheidung der beauftragten Werbeagentur handle. An dem Grundsatz, dass im Öffentlichen Nahverkehr Berlins auf Werbung mit religiös\/weltanschaulichen Bekenntnissen verzichtet werden solle, halte man fest.<\/p>\n

Die anlassbezogene Werbung religiöser Gruppen sei nach wie vor möglich, auf rein bekennende Werbeinhalte wolle man sich als weltoffenes und der Toleranz verpflichtetes Unternehmen aber nicht einlassen. Die BVG hat den Hinweis zum Anlass genommen, um die mit der Vermietung der Werbeflächen beauftragte Firma noch einmal auf den Grundsatz der religiös\/weltanschaulichen Neutralität zu verpflichten.<\/p>\n
