Martina Kant, die sich bisher die Geschäftsführung der Humanistischen Union mit Sven Lüders teilte, ist als Mitarbeiterin der Fraktion Bündnis 90\/Die Grünen in den Bundestag gewechselt. Sie arbeitet dort ab sofort – voraussichtlich bis zum Ende der Legislaturperiode (September 2013) – als Referentin für den Untersuchungsausschuss „Terrorgruppe nationalsozialistischer Untergrund“. Der Bundesvorstand der HU hat sie deshalb mit Wirkung vom 1. März 2012 beurlaubt. Trotz ihrer Tätigkeit im Bundestag wird Martina Kant den Kontakt zur HU halten, die Arbeit des Bundesvorstands verfolgen und an größeren HU-Veranstaltungen teilnehmen.<\/p>\n
Die Aufgaben von Martina Kant übernimmt ab sofort Sven Lüders. Zu seiner Entlastung hatte der Vorstand eine Assistenz der Geschäftsführung ausgeschrieben. Im Bewerbungsverfahren setzte sich Carola Otte durch, die die Stelle am 15. Mai 2012 antrat. Carola Otte, gebürtige Bremerin (Jahrgang 1971), arbeitete nach ihrem Wirtschaftsstudium einige Jahre lang als Unternehmensberaterin. Dort koordinierte sie vor allem Schulungsteams in SAP-Einführungsprojekten. In den letzten Jahren konzentrierte sie sich auf die pädagogische Arbeit mit Mädchen und jungen Frauen in verschiedenen Berliner Mädchenzentren. Mit der Arbeitsweise in Vereinen ist sie deshalb bestens vertraut, und verfügt daneben über fundierte Abrechnungs- und Finanzkenntnisse sowie ein ausgeprägtes Organisationstalent.<\/p>\n
Carola Otte übernimmt vor allem Verwaltungsaufgaben der bisherigen Geschäftsführung. Zu ihren Aufgabenbereichen gehören die Finanzen des Bundesverbandes, der Regionalverbände und Projekte der HU (wie Grundrechte-Report, Zeitschrift vorgänge, AK Vorrat); daneben vereinsbezogene Tätigkeiten wie die Mitgliederverwaltung, die Vor- und Nachbereitung von Veranstaltungen sowie die Unterstützung der Regionalverbände; schließlich auch die allgemeine Büroorganisation und die Content-Bereitstellung für die HU-Webseite.
