Aus: Mitteilungen Nr. 202 S. 15<\/p>\n<p>In verschiedenen Zusammenh\u00e4ngen werden von wertkonservativen Kreisen, vor allem von den Kirchen, Thesen verfochten, die einer Zementierung historisch bedingter Privilegien der beiden christlichen Kirchen und dem Monopolanspruch auf gesellschaftliche Werte gleichkommen w\u00fcrden. Solche Thesen lauten beispielsweise:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Die abendl\u00e4ndische Gesellschaft fu\u00dft allein auf christlichen Grundwerten<\/li>\n<li>Ohne Religion kann es keinen Wertekonsens geben<\/li>\n<li>Ein weltanschaulich neutraler Staat darf selbst keinen Werteunterricht erteilen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eine andere These hat \u00e4hnlich gro\u00dfe Verbreitung gefunden: \u201eDer freiheitliche, s\u00e4kularisierte Staat lebt von Voraussetzungen, die er selbst nicht garantieren kann.\u201d Diese Behauptung, die auch als \u201eB\u00f6ckenf\u00f6rde-Diktum\u201c bekannt ist, dient heute zur Begr\u00fcndung von Partnerschaften zwischen Staat und Kirchen, sei es bei der Erziehung, bei der Gesetzgebung und nicht zuletzt bei der Alimentierung der Religionsgesellschaften. W\u00e4hrend der Tagung sollen diese Thesen aus humanistischer und verfassungsrechtlicher Sicht kritisch \u00fcberpr\u00fcft werden. Und es soll gezeigt werden, wie anhand von religionsneutralen und universellen Prinzipien ein Wertekonsens, also eine Ethik f\u00fcr alle, erreicht und vermittelt werden kann.
