Generationswechsel in der Humanistischen Union Marburg:\u00a0 Die Mitgliederversammlung des Ortsverbands Marburg w\u00e4hlte am 26. August 2008 den 38j\u00e4hrigen Politologen Dragan Pavlovic einstimmig zum Vorsitzenden. Nach 21 Jahren schied Franz-Josef Hanke aus diesem Amt aus. Dem HU-Ortsvorstand wird der Journalist k\u00fcnftig als Zweiter Vorsitzender angeh\u00f6ren. \u201eMit dem Wechsel zwischen Vorsitz und Stellvertretung m\u00f6chte die B\u00fcrgerrechtsorganisation neben einer Verj\u00fcngung zugleich auch eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfigere Verteilung der ehrenamtlichen Arbeit erreichen\u201c, erkl\u00e4rte Hanke.<\/p>\n
Neu in den Vorstand der mittel- und nordhessischen Regionalgliederung der Humanistischen Union berufen wurden Gudrun Hoffmann aus B\u00fcdingen und Matthias Schulz aus Biedenkopf. Schulz wird als Schriftf\u00fchrer die ehrenamtliche Arbeit fortf\u00fchren, die er schon seit zwei Jahren zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Organisation geleistet hat. Hoffmann \u00fcbernimmt das Amt des Schatzmeisters von Hans Rink, der im Juli auf eigenen Wunsch aus dem HU-Ortsvorstand ausgeschieden war. Zudem will sie k\u00fcnftig die Arbeit des HU-Arbeitskreises \u201eJustizreform“ koordinieren.<\/p>\n
Hanke wiederum wird den HU-Arbeitskreis \u201eErwerbslosigkeit und Soziale B\u00fcrgerrechte“ (ESBR) koordinieren. Seit 2005 ist er bereits Ansprechpartner des bundesweiten Arbeitskreises Soziale Grundrechte (AKSG) der Humanistischen Union. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bleibt der Marburger auch weiterhin Landessprecher der Humanistischen Union in Hessen.<\/p>\n
Bis zum Jahresende plant der HU-Ortsverband Marburg noch zwei gr\u00f6\u00dfere Veranstaltungen. Der ehemalige Bundestags-Vizepr\u00e4sident Dr. Burkhard Hirsch (FDP) wird \u00fcber die Aush\u00f6hlung der Freiheitsrechte im Zuge der angeblichen Terrorismusbek\u00e4mpfung sprechen. Ein Streitgespr\u00e4ch zwischen dem Marburger Philosophen Dr. Dr. Joachim Kahl und dem Marburger Psychologen Prof. Dr. Hans Schauer soll die Thesen des britischen Biologen Dr. Richard Dawkins behandeln.
