Mitteilungen Nr. 181, S.4<\/p>\n

Am 22. Mai 2003, dem Tag vor dem Verfassungstag, wurde die diesj\u00e4hrige Ausgabe des Grundrechte-Reports Presse und \u00d6ffentlichkeit pr\u00e4sentiert. Wie schon im vergangenen Jahr stand der Presse ein Podium von Expertinnen und Experten zur Verf\u00fcgung, die zu Schwerpunktthemen des Grundrechte-Reports Auskunft gaben: Einleitend vermittelte Bundesvorstandsmitglied Dr. J\u00fcrgen K\u00fchling einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber grundrechtsgef\u00e4hrdende Entwicklungen im letzten Jahr.
Das Medienecho \u00fcbertraf die Erwartungen der Herausgeber-Organisationen – neben der HUMANISTISCHEN UNION wirken die Gustav-Heinemann-Iniative, das Komitee f\u00fcr Grundrechte und Demokratie, der Bundesarbeitskreis Kritischer Juragruppen, Pro Asyl, der Republikanische Anw\u00e4lteverein und die Vereinigung demokratischer JuristInnen an dem Buchprojekt mit – bei weitem: Nicht nur in der \u00fcberregionalen Tagespresse, sondern auch in der ARD-Tagesschau fand die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des Grundrechte-Reports Beachtung.
Die VertreterInnen der HUMANISTISCHEN UNION in der Redaktion des Grundrechte-Reports hoffen, dass das Buch auch f\u00fcr die Mitglieder der HU eine anregende Lekt\u00fcre und Inspiration bei ihrer politischen Arbeit darstellt – die wie in den Jahren zuvor vielleicht eine kleine Spende an die HU wert ist.
