Sch\u00fcler haben gestern 16 Zwangsarbeitern aus der Ukraine eine Entsch\u00e4digung \u00fcbergeben. Die 27 Jugendlichen hatten sich in Gersthofen die Namen der Zwangsarbeiter besorgt, die die Nazis dorthin verschleppt hatten, berichtete Geschichtslehrer Bernhard Lehmann. Dann sammelten sie rund 17.000 Euro, die sie an 90 Polen, Russen und Ukrainer verteilen wollten. Die Gersthofener Beh\u00f6rden verweigerten den Sch\u00fclern zun\u00e4chst den Zugang zu den
Unterlagen; nur per Gerichtsbeschluss konnte das Projekt fortgesetzt werden, so Lehmann. Von den kontaktierten Verb\u00e4nden reagierte nur der ukrainische. So erhielten die 16 noch lebenden Zwangsarbeiter je 1.000 Euro. „Wir m\u00f6chten Sie um Vergebung f\u00fcr alles bitten, das sie ertragen mussten“, schrieben die Sch\u00fcler dazu.
