Die Europäische Kommission verhandelt derzeit mehrere Freihandels- und Investitionsschutzabkommen, die beinahe alle Lebensbereiche betreffen. Die bekanntesten sind CETA, TTIP und TISA. Alle Abkommen wurden (CETA) bzw. werden (TTIP und TISA) hinter verschlossenen Türen verhandelt, die Zivilgesellschaft und selbst Abgeordnete haben keinen Zugang zu den Verhandlungstexten. Dieses Verfahren ist undemokratisch.<\/p>\n
In CETA und TTIP sind außerstaatliche Schiedsgerichte vorgesehen, die verbindlich über Ansprüche von Investoren über Schadensersatzansprüche gegen Staaten entscheiden. Schiedsgerichte sind nicht an das Grundgesetz oder europäisches Recht gebunden, ihre Entscheidungen sind selbst dann verbindlich, wenn sie gegen das Grundgesetz oder europäisches Recht verstoßen. Die Gefahr von Schadensersatzansprüchen gefährdet die Entscheidungsfreiheit des demokratischen gewählten Gesetzgebers.<\/p>\n
Die „Freihandels- und Investitionsschutzabkommen“ und die in ihnen enthaltenen Einschränkungen für politische Entscheidungen gelten zeitlich unbegrenzt und können nur einvernehmlich (was kaum möglich sein wird) gekündigt werden. Der demokratische Prozess muss für die Zukunft offenbleiben, damit bei anderen Mehrheiten andere Entscheidungen getroffen werden können. Die praktische Unumkehrbarkeit der geplanten Abkommen ist ein Verstoß gegen das Demokratieprinzip.<\/p>\n
Wir fordern deshalb:<\/p>\n

- Für einen Welthandel der den Menschenrechten, insbesondere den sozialen und ökologischen Werten verpflichtet ist.<\/li>\n
- Nein zu CETA, TTIP und TISA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Wir rufen alle Mitglieder und Sympathisant\/innen der Humanistischen Union auf, sich an der Großdemonstration am 10.
