Antrag zur Beschlussfassung<\/p>\n

Die Delegiertenkonferenz m\u00f6ge beschlie\u00dfen:<\/p>\n

Die Humanistische Union (HU) ist eine B\u00fcrgerrechtsorganisation. Wir alle sehen uns in der Tradition der Aufkl\u00e4rung. Wir stehen f\u00fcr den s\u00e4kularen Staat und f\u00fcr eine konsequente Trennung von Kirche und Staat. Manche von uns definieren sich als AtheistenInnen, andere als AgnostikerInnen, andere glauben an Gott und geh\u00f6ren einer Religionsgemeinschaft an.<\/p>\n

Die HU steht f\u00fcr Toleranz und f\u00fcr Respekt vor diesen h\u00f6chstpers\u00f6nlichen Lebenshaltungen, m\u00f6gen sie auch sehr unterschiedlich sein. Die HU hat sich als B\u00fcrgerrechtsorganisation der Verteidigung individueller Freiheiten gegen\u00fcber staatlichen, kirchlichen oder wirtschaftlichen Machtanspr\u00fcchen verschrieben; ebenso verteidigt sie den kulturellen Pluralismus in der Gesellschaft und die individuelle Glaubensfreiheit (ohne sich deswegen mit einzelnen Glaubenslehren gemein zu machen). Neben der Weltanschauungsfreiheit geh\u00f6rt auch die individuelle Religionsfreiheit zum Kernbestand der B\u00fcrgerrechte. Der Schutz beider Rechte wird als wichtiges Ziel in unserer Satzung benannt:<\/p>\n

\u00a7 2 Ziele<\/i>\n<\/p>\n

Es ist der Zweck und die Aufgabe des Vereins, alle Bestrebungen zu f\u00f6rdern, welche <\/i>\n<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0die ungehinderte Entfaltung aller weltanschaulichen, religi\u00f6sen, philosophischen, wissenschaftlichen und k\u00fcnstlerischen Auffassungen in gegenseitiger Achtung gew\u00e4hrleisten <\/i>\n<\/p>\n

2. es jeder B\u00fcrgerin und jedem B\u00fcrger gestatten, von den im Grundgesetz garantierten Rechten der individuellen Lebensgestaltung, der Glaubens-, Gewissens- und Bekenntnis-, der Meinungs-, Informations- und Koalitionsfreiheit ohne Furcht vor Nachteilen Gebrauch zu machen, […]<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Selbstverst\u00e4ndlich setzt sich eine B\u00fcrgerrechtsorganisation auch mit den Inhalten von Glaubenslehren kritisch auseinander und verteidigt B\u00fcrgerrechte gegen religi\u00f6s begr\u00fcndete \u00dcbergriffe – das entspricht den Urspr\u00fcngen der Humanistischen Union, die sich unter anderem gegen die bedr\u00e4ngende Einflussnahme der katholischen Kirche auf Staat und Gesellschaft gegr\u00fcndet hatte.<\/p>\n

Weltanschauliches und religi\u00f6ses Eiferertum und andere Formen der Intoleranz f\u00f6rdern den Einsatz f\u00fcr eine aufgekl\u00e4rte Gesellschaft nicht, sondern unterminieren ihn.<\/p>\n

Die Humanistische Union ist eine B\u00fcrgerrechtsorganisation, kein anti-religi\u00f6ser Kampfverband und auch keine humanistische Weltanschauungsgemeinschaft. Deshalb haben sowohl Menschen, die gl\u00e4ubig sind oder einer Kirche angeh\u00f6ren genauso wie Menschen, die sich weltanschaulich atheistisch orientieren, wenn sie sich f\u00fcr Menschen- und B\u00fcrgerrechte einsetzen wollen, ihren Platz in unseren Reihen.<\/p>\n
