Der Vorstand der Humanistischen Union hat sich anl\u00e4sslich der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung der verschiedenen Untersuchungs- und Forschungsberichte zu Helmut Kentler in den Jahren 2017, 2019 und 2020 noch einmal mit dem Werk Helmut Kentlers besch\u00e4ftigt. Der Vorstand musste hierbei feststellen, dass die Positionen Kentlers zu sexuellen Kontakten zwischen Kindern und Erwachsenen nicht in Einklang stehen mit der Beschlusslage der Humanistischen Union zu diesem Themenkomplex, wie sie beispielsweise im Beschluss der Delegiertenkonferenz von 2004 formuliert sind.<\/p>\n

In einem Bericht von 2010 wurden die Positionen der Humanistischen Union zu diesem Thema zusammengefasst und erl\u00e4utert (Mitteilungen Nr. 208\/209, 1+2\/2010<\/a>, S. 28-32). Dieser Positionierung haben wir grunds\u00e4tzlich nichts hinzuzuf\u00fcgen, trotzdem bleiben in diesem Bericht Fragen offen: Helmut Kentler hat aus seinen \u00dcberzeugungen kein Hehl gemacht und sie auch seit 1988 verschiedentlich ver\u00f6ffentlicht (u.a. in Leihv\u00e4ter. Kinder brauchen V\u00e4ter. Rowohlt 1989). Die Humanistische Union hat diese von ihren Grund\u00fcberzeugungen abweichenden Positionen ignoriert oder zumindest nicht kommentiert. Im Nachhinein betrachtet ist dieser Umgang mit unserem damaligen Mitglied und Beiratsmitglied unverst\u00e4ndlich. Besonders der Nachruf in den Mitteilungen im Jahr 2008 h\u00e4tte vor dem Hintergrund des Beschlusses von 2004 unkommentiert nicht ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden sollen.<\/p>\n

Dennoch werden wir den Nachruf auf Helmut Kentler<\/a> so, wie er damals in den Mitteilungen erschienen ist, weiter auf unserer Website stehen lassen, da wir unsere Vers\u00e4umnisse nicht verleugnen, sondern uns weiterhin damit auseinandersetzen wollen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[48],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-18272","thema","type-thema","status-publish","hentry","category-sexualstrafrecht"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nKommentar des HU-Bundesvorstands zum Nachruf auf H.
