Israel, Palästina und die Grenzen des Sagbaren<\/h4>\n

F\u00fcr das M\u00fcnchener Rathaus ist die Sache klar: keine st\u00e4dtischen R\u00e4ume f\u00fcr Veranstaltungen, auf denen Israel kritisiert und die Kampagne zum Boykott israelischer Produkte (BDS) erw\u00e4hnt wird. Am besten auch keine Konzerte mehr in M\u00fcnchen mit BDS-Sympathisanten wie Roger Waters, der einst Pink Floyd mit-gr\u00fcndete. Seit dem entsprechenden Stadtratsbeschluss von Ende 2017 ist die Szene in Aufruhr. Vortr\u00e4ge und Filme werden abgesagt, selbst prominente Rednerinnen finden keine Veranstalter mehr und damit auch kein Publikum. Der BDS-Verdacht greift sogar dann, wenn es um Genderforschung geht oder Kurdistan.<\/p>\n

Medienrealit\u00e4t live fragt, was solche Tabus mit einer Gesellschaft machen, die auf \u00d6ffentlichkeit baut \u2013 auf Journalistinnen, die ungehindert Themen setzen, und auf B\u00fcrgerinnen, die sich aus einer Vielzahl von Quellen informieren k\u00f6nnen, damit die Gesellschaft sich \u00fcber ihre Probleme klar werden und diese l\u00f6sen kann. Dabei ist klar: Antisemitismus darf genau wie Rassismus keine B\u00fchne haben.<\/p>\n

Aber was passiert, wenn der Vorwurf \u201eAntisemit\u201c genutzt wird, um unbequeme Stimmen aus der \u00d6ffentlichkeit zu verbannen \u2013 Menschen, die die israelische Besatzungspolitik kritisieren oder Menschenrechtsverletzungen thematisieren?<\/b><\/p>\n

Medienrealit\u00e4t live hat f\u00fcr die Veranstaltung am 7. November einen prominenten Gast gewinnen k\u00f6nnen: Andreas Zumach ist einer der Motoren der Friedensbewegung und berichtet seit 1988 aus Genf f\u00fcr die taz und andere gro\u00dfe Medien. Er war freiwilliger und hauptamtlicher Referent der Aktion S\u00fchnezeichen\/Friedensdienste. 2009 bekam er den G\u00f6ttinger Friedenspreis. F\u00fcr das Thema des Abends besonders relevant: Andreas Zumach ist im Beirat des \u201eB\u00fcndnisses zur Beendigung der israelischen Besatzung\u201c.
